Our Staff

All our nurses are qualified with the NEBDN examination and are also registered with The General Dental Council so they are able work on reception as well as in the surgery.

 

	Laura Laura is one of our Dental Therapists. Laura joined the practice in 2005, having qualified with a BSc in Oral Health Science from Manchester University in June 2004. Laura will be gradually increasing her sessions with us as the practice develops. She also has previous experience as a dental nurse.
	Libby Libby is also one of our Dental Therapists who joined the practice in 2008. She qualified with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Oral Therapy RCS at The Eastman Dental Institute in London. Libby currently works at the practice on a Friday and like Laura, also has previous experience as a dental nurse.

	Michelle Michelle is a qualified and registered dental nurse with several years experience who joined the practice in November 2003. Michelle brought a lot of experience to the practice and has taken over many administrative aspects of the daily management. She now spends most of the time on reception, so it will be her that greets you on the telephone or at the door

	Maria Maria joined the practice in August 2001. Maria has many years experience of dental nursing but took some time out to become a mother. She is now the proud mother of two boys and works for the practice three days a week. Maria obtained her dental nurse qualification whilst working at the practice.

The practice has a policy of only employing qualified and registered dental nurses or those who are enrolled on a formal training course, leading to qualification.
